Alessandro & Anne — A Five-Star Wedding at Castello di Marne

Some weddings just hit different better music, better food, better energy in the room, from the ceremony all the way through to the fireworks. This was one of those nights.

Alessandro Banfi, who runs a well-known shoe factory in Parabiago together with his family, married Anne Trezza Brazilian, warm, endlessly kind, genuinely one of the sweetest people I’ve worked with at Castello di Marne in Filago, near Bergamo. The castle, managed by the Acquaroli family, is exactly the kind of venue that makes a wedding feel like an event: sweeping grounds, a facade that stops guests in their tracks, and enough space to let a party actually breathe.

And breathe it did. The ceremony was genuinely moving, the music was some of the best I’ve heard at a wedding, the food was excellent, fireworks lit up the grounds later in the night, and the dance floor didn’t empty until well past midnight. Friends, family, a room full of people who clearly adored this couple it all came together into what I’d honestly call a five-star wedding, in every sense.

One moment in particular has stayed with me. Anne’s son put together a voice-over message from Brazil, which we laid underneath the music in the film. The first time she watched it, she burst into tears happy ones. Getting to be the one holding the camera for a moment like that is exactly why I love this job.

Photography was handled by Bottega Incontroluce, and I filmed alongside Daniele Mileto, known as Keydioma, on second camera.
