Tiziana, from Saltrio, and Giuseppe, from Magnago, married in an evangelical church in Lurate Caccivio before heading to Villa Patrizia the same colonial-style villa in Magnago I’d already filmed a couple of other weddings at for a reception that never really slowed down.
Giuseppe has a big, restless energy about him the kind of groom who’s greeting someone new every thirty seconds and never quite sits still. Tiziana is his opposite in temperament, calm and composed, and the two of them balance each other out in a way that’s obvious the moment you see them together. Between the ceremony and the reception, we stopped somewhere along the way to take in a genuinely great view over the countryside I couldn’t tell you exactly where, but it made for one of the nicer quiet moments of the day.
This was a big, crowded wedding, and it stayed high-energy from start to finish: live musicians through the reception, a bit of neomelodica between courses, and dancing that kept going well past dinner. Tiziana and Giuseppe had also booked a room inside the villa itself for their wedding night, and we grabbed a few extra shots there before the party properly got going.
Photography was handled by Bottega Incontroluce, and on second camera for the groom’s preparations and the church was Massimo Alberto Fersini.
